Another option is to use the ones from farm tek and not the feed store or the new horizontal ones.

The cups use a small float to push on the nipple drinker basically turning it into a small valve!

So it looks like you need 3 printed parts the nipple and a washer.

The nipple holder, the cup, the valve, and a pin

I would like to design and 3d print something to work the same and to add to a trough or similar waterer- the micro valve!

In addition I would like to print the water collectors under each nipple
